Dear Diary,

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life, as I take over the reins at Wrexham A.F.C. in the EA Sports FC 24 Career Mode. The excitement is palpable, but so is the pressure. Why, you ask? Well, the club’s new owners are none other than Hollywood celebrities, and they have grandiose dreams for this team. They’ve got the glitz and glamour, and now it’s up to me to bring them glory on the pitch.

Our primary aim for this season is nothing short of winning the league. Promotion has to be the bare minimum expectation; failure is not an option. The Hollywood owners demand success, and I’ve taken up this challenge willingly, knowing that it won’t be a walk in the park.

I’m looking forward to meeting the players and getting to know the squad. They have some raw talent, but it’s my job to shape them into a cohesive, winning unit. There’s a tricky pre-season ahead, with gruelling training sessions and intense tactical work. But I believe, with hard work and dedication, this squad can achieve anything.

One challenge that looms large over us is our tight budget. The Hollywood owners may have deep pockets, but they aren’t ready to break the bank just yet. I’ll need to be resourceful and may have to delve into the free agent market to bolster our ranks.

Every pound spent will have to count, and every player recruited will need to contribute significantly.

On a brighter note, we’ve got a pre-season tournament coming up. It’s an excellent opportunity to judge the players’ abilities, understand their strengths and weaknesses, and set our tactical approach for the new season.

I’ve been studying game tapes and scouting reports, trying to find the right balance between the existing squad and potential new signings.

The journey ahead is filled with uncertainty, challenges, and high expectations, but I’m ready to lead Wrexham A.F.C. to greatness. Tomorrow, we start the pre-season tournament, and the first whistle of my managerial career at this historic club will echo through the stadium.
