EVE Online: Revenant Expansion arrives to bring conflict

TCCP Games has revealed EVE Online: Revenant, the next expansion for their iconic space MMO.

Launching on 12 November, the expansion propels the Deathless Saga into an intense new chapter. The Drifters, a familiar threat, have launched a siege against the Deathless in Zarzakh, targeting a mysterious structure of ancient origins.

Capsuleers across New Eden must unite to uncover its secrets and face rising chaos.

New Arsenal and Strategic Gameplay

EVE Online: Revenant introduces new ways for players to gear up for the escalating war. Capsuleers can now build mercenary dens in nullsec, strategically placing them around skyhooks.

These dens generate encrypted infomorphs, which players can trade with the Deathless in exchange for powerful new ships and cutting-edge weapons.

Tactical Operations and upgrades to the mercenary dens allow players to increase their production of these valuable resources.

In a statement about the expansion, Bergur Finnbogason, Creative Director of EVE Online, explained its significance: “An ancient proverb says, ‘The enemy of my enemy is my friend.’ This is the theme for Revenant, which marks the continuation of an intense chapter in EVE’s history: the Deathless Saga.

“While the Deathless may have won the battle for Zarzakh, the Drifters remain an imminent threat, having emerged from the shadows once more.

But with this victory, the Deathless has managed to get his hands on something that was not meant for capsuleers.

Will this newfound technology be suppressed, or will they harness its furious power?”

New Ships and Customization Options

The expansion also brings new Deathless ships to the game, including the Tholos (destroyer) and Cenotaph (battlecruiser).

These ships specialise in close-range brawls, using damage-over-time weaponry to give players a fresh tactical advantage in PvP and PvE.

Cloak and ambush your enemies, then unleash devastating attacks—even from beyond the grave.

Revenant also overhauls the SKINR system, adding deeper customisation options. Capsuleers can now create exclusive SKINs for their corporations and alliances, combining nanocoatings and patterns to craft unique designs.

A new section in the Paragon Hub helps groups find tailored SKINs to enhance their visual presence across fleets.

These updates offer a new level of creativity and unity for players who want to stand out in the vast expanse of New Eden.

Strengthening Corporations and Streamlining Projects

In addition to combat upgrades, EVE Online: Revenant introduces enhanced Corporation Projects. Players can now set project deadlines, merge diverse activities into a single goal, and even add participation limits.

The new ship insurance project type also automates ship replacement, making it easier for corporations to manage their fleets.

Snorri Árnason, Game Director of EVE Online, emphasised the importance of community-driven gameplay.

He said: “Strong organisations are the lifeblood of EVE Online. With Revenant, we’re giving players the tools to strengthen their corporations.

“Enhanced Corporation Projects will help streamline goals, while the new SKINR features allow for creative expression of your group’s identity.

“These updates will empower players and foster a sense of unity across New Eden.”

EVE Vanguard: Taking the Battle to the Ground

As the war in space intensifies, EVE Vanguard brings the conflict to the planet’s surface.

From 28 November to 9 December, players can join a new public event and get a glimpse of the largest update yet for the upcoming sci-fi FPS.

This event will introduce new content and features, as Vanguard continues to build out boots-on-the-ground combat in the EVE universe.

More details on EVE Vanguard will be revealed soon. Players eager to join the fight can stay connected by joining the community on Discord and wishlisting the game on Steam.
