As August comes to a close, PlayStation Plus subscribers have enjoyed a bountiful array of new games, but September is poised to bring some farewells.

Just like popular streaming services for television and film, PlayStation Plus regularly rotates its on-demand gaming library, adding new titles while quietly retiring others. It’s crucial for gamers to stay informed about which games are set to exit the line-up.

In the upcoming month, several Ubisoft favourites and a mix of other titles are slated to leave PlayStation Plus, bidding adieu to eager players.

Among the games departing are the well-regarded Chicory: A Colorful Tale, the thrilling Death End re;Quest 2, the captivating Deathloop, the quirky Nidhogg 2, the thought-provoking Through the Darkest of Times, and the action-packed Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands.

Additionally, fans of the hacking-themed series will have to bid farewell to Watch Dogs and Watch Dogs 2.

While the departure of these titles might disappoint some, the arrival of new games in August 2023’s line-up promises to fill the void. Subscribers can now revel in the offerings of PGA Tour 2K23, Death’s Door, and Dreams.

Members of the Extra and Premium tiers have even more to celebrate, as they gain access to an array of supplementary content. Noteworthy additions include Moving Out 2, Midnight Fight Express, and the eagerly anticipated Sea of Stars.

In a nod to nostalgia, classic PlayStation games like MediEvil: Resurrection and Ape Escape: On the Loose have also been revitalised for modern players.
