Xbox and Ubisoft have announced that Rainbow Six Extraction will launch on day one as part of the former’s Xbox Game Pass service.

Set to launch on console, PC, and Cloud via Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Extraction will line-up with its Siege counterpart, which will become available to PC players on January 20 of this year.

Extraction is a co-op PVE spinoff from Rainbow Six Siege’s Outbreak mode, as players face off against an alien invasion. Placed into 12 changing alien hotspots, players must extract or destroy high-value targets whilst fighting off extraterrestrial hordes.

Alongside the announcement of this Xbox Game Pass day one launch, Ubisoft also announced their intent to bring Ubisoft+ to Xbox platforms at some point in the future.

Moreover, as well as a launch on various Xbox platforms, Extraction will also be available on PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna.
