Serious Sam 4 gets Siberian Mayhem expansion

Timelock Studio, an independent developer, and Croteam, the company behind Serious Sam 4, have collaborated to create a standalone expansion into the ongoing adventures of ‘Serious’ Sam Stone. 

The expansion, entitled Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem, will become available through Steam on January 25, with fans able to preorder today and Serious Sam 4 owners receiving a discount on any pre-order or post-launch purchase. 

Players will be tasked to make their way through the vast Russian landscapes in five new missions set along Arctic coastlines, desolate forests, abandoned villages and a chilling ghost town. 

A new set of dangerous foes and bosses join the Horde including some stated to be the “most advanced and intimidating creatures the hallowed FPS series has ever seen”. Moreover, new weapons will be included, such as the experimental crossbow, along with new vehicles from snowmobiles to towering mechs.

Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem took an unusual path, starting as an ambitious project from longtime Serious Sam community modding team Timelock Studio. It quickly evolved into a standalone expansion under the guidance of Croteam.
