Should the industry ’Take Two’ on microtransactions?

In the latest episode of Game Mirage, James Ross, Ryan Britton-Carr and Lee Ross return to talk all things microtransaction. 

Off the back of Take Two Interactive’s recent financial result, which shown an eye water increase in ‘Recurrent Consumer Spending’ – a fancy way of saying microtransactions, along with DLC and any other add-ons, the trio looked into the state of the microtransaction world in gaming and provided their opinion on what the future may hold for gaming with this trend set to remain.
