Wreckfest reveals Nintendo Switch footage ahead of release

Brand-new gameplay footage for Wreckfest has been revealed by THQ Nordic and Bugbear Studios ahead of its Nintendo Switch launch. 

Captured on the Switch console, the footage reveals the vehicular destruction capable on the handheld console, along with race tracks, over-the-top crashes and various vehicles for players to choose from. 

Coming to Nintendo Switch on June 21, 2022, the title will offer two acquirable season packages additionally to the base game. 

Season 1 package, costing £11.99, includes 20 iconic vehicles, 20 roof decorations, and a car customisation pack with new armour, and rims, to name but a few. 

Moreover, the season 2 package will grant players access to 12 additional cars for £9.99 – granting 12 additional cars.

SRP for the digital edition of the base game is £34.99. Season packs are sold separately.

Wreckfest is said to offer players “epic crashes, neck-to-neck fights over the finish line and brand-new ways for metal to bend”. 

The game comes from the developer Bugbear, who also created FlatOut 1, 2 and Ultimate Carnage.
